Mr. Ibrahim Rasheed began his services to the government as a primary teacher at Raa.Atoll Education Centre on 1st January 1999. He served as a primary teacher's position in Raa.Atoll Education Centre for three years, and then, he was promoted to a Mathematics Teacher of the same school, after completion of Diploma in Middle School Teaching Programme in Regional Institute of Education in Mysore. His next promotion which was to be the Headmaster of Laamu. Isdhoo School on April 2004, was a big challenge for him, as he was the first Headmaster of the school. His first year at Isdhoo School was spent laying a strong foundation for the whole school; working closely with the island community. Then he was posted to a Headmaster of Raa.Inguraidhoo School in 2005 and during the middle of the tenure he was transferred to Dh.Atoll Education Centre. In 2006 he was posted to the Headmaster of Sh.Funadhoo School. At Present he is the Superintendent of Education Unit of South Central Province.
Mr.Ibrahim Rasheed studied at Raa.Atoll Education Centre, from where he completed his London Ordinary Levels. He holds a teaching certificate from Institute of Teacher Education, Maldives (March 1997 - Dec 1998),Diploma in Middle School Teaching from Regional Institute of Education in Mysore (2002-2003) , Diploma in School Management in National Institute of Education, SriLanka ( 2003-2004) and Bachelors of Arts in Economics, Sociology and Political Science from University of Mysore ( June 2006-June2009).
